Grief Counseling

for those grieving the death of a loved one

Our Process

Grieving Process

Grief is a natural response to the death of a loved one. We grieve because we love, and because every relationship is unique, every grief journey is unique as well. Grief counseling can help you explore the specific aspects of your relationship and develop a plan to support you along your grief journey, helping you move toward healing at your own pace.

Complicated Grief

The grief journey can become complicated by many factors, including changes in family relationships, the loss of friendships, a challenging relationship with the person who died, multiple losses within a short period of time, or a history of depression. Grief counseling can help you process these complicating factors so healing can begin.

Traumatic Loss

A traumatic loss can also affect healing from grief. A violent, sudden, or unexpected loss can complicate the healing process, and suicide loss can bring unique layers of pain and complexity. Trauma therapy can support you in working toward healing after a traumatic loss

Faith-Based Support

During the grieving process, we can draw strength from our faith. Grief can also lead us to ponder questions, such as why people become ill or what happens after we die. Faith-based grief counseling can provide support as you explore these questions and seek meaning during your healing journey.
