Sessions are typically about 55 minutes. The first session is focused on gathering important information regarding your background, past experiences, and current symptoms. This is imperative to laying a strong foundation from which good and effective change can take place.

Typically, therapy sessions are held weekly when you first begin. Once you and your therapist have laid a good foundation for growth and you are feeling improvement, sessions can often be less frequent often transitioning to every other week or monthly. The length of time that therapy sessions will be recommended is unique to each individual and determined based on a number of factors.
